Cook the source, stirring constantly, for 2 to 3 minutes until it thickens slightly. ( do not boil ). Season the source with salt.
  4. Cut the steak crosswise into thin slices and transfer into a warmed serving platter. Poor any accumulated juices and the onion sauce over the steak and serve immediately.
