Steps to make Chocolate Cake with biscuits:
- Grease a round or Square microwave-safe container with ghee or butter and keep aside.
- In a mixer jar, take 15 biscuits and grind them to a fine powder.
- Add 2 tsp sugar powder.
- Add 3-4 tbsp milk and churn. If needed add more milk gradually and make a semi thick batter.
- Now add a pinch baking soda to the batter and mix.
- Pour the batter to the greased container and tap the container so that the batter is spread evenly.
- Now Microwave the cake for 5 minutes.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes and unmould the cake base.
- Similarly, make 2nd base. You can also make a single base using all the 30 biscuits together and then cut the base horizontally from the center. (I prefer making 2 base).
- For chocolate ganache with Amul fresh cream, in a bowl take 100 ml Amul cream and cut the dark chocolate to small pieces and add to the bowl.
- Now microwave the chocolate and cream for 20 seconds and mix it for a minute. If the chocolate is not melted then you can microwave for another 10-15 seconds.
- Stir the mixture for a minute and the ganache is ready. If you want a thick ganache then keep the bowl aside for 2-3 hours. The ganache will become thick after 2-3 hours. You can also refrigerate the ganache for cream like thickness.
- If you are using ready whipped cream, then just add melted dark chocolate to the whipped cream and mix well and the chocolate cream is ready. For dark cream use more chocolate and less cream.
- Now spread the cream on 1 base evenly and keep the other base over it and cover the cake completely with the cream.
- You can make designs of your choice on the top or simply garnish with grated chocolate or choco chips. Sharing some that I made.
- The cake is ready to be served.
